You will undertake the design and integration of all engineered hardware required in the development of bespoke control systems and sub-assemblies for customers? vehicle applications interfacing closely with the sales, marketing, engineering and production teams at all stages from model concept and application requirement identification to product testing, approval and production ramp up. This will also require considerable interfacing with the specialist engineers of existing and potential customers and the role will include the design and selection of all related hardware devices including motor controllers, microprocessors, battery chargers and dc converters and detailed involvement in the evaluation of process related component make or buy decisions.
Candidates must be graduates in electronic or control engineering able to demonstrate their significant contribution to the design and development of bespoke electronic engineering solutions, preferably related to hardware incorporated into vehicle application designs.
